2021 Holiday Gift Guide

Looking to give that perfect gift that supports your local community? As we were doing some of our own last minute holiday shopping, we asked you for some of your favorite local businesses to support. These are in no particular order, but here are some of the best local gift ideas in Columbus!
1. Watershed Distillery (Prices Vary):  https://www.watersheddistillery.com/distillery/
Looking for a gift they won’t return? Watershed Distillery is open for business for all your last minute holiday needs. They have something for everyone and there’s still time to snag a bottle of their limited seasonal offering, Bourcino. Are you done shopping? Then go relax with a drink and a nosh in Watershed Kitchen + Bar, one of Columbus’ top restaurant and cocktail bars.
Is a husband and wife team from here in Columbus that make some of the best jam around. They also work with local farmers for their ingredients as well as using local distrillies for their alcohol infused jam.
Thinking beyond single flavors, they began to compose symphonic combinations of fruits. Whether enjoyed straight from the jar, or paired with your favorite baked good or main dish, their jam and marmalade will make your taste buds drool for an encore!
3. Ohio True Joggers ($45 and C-BUS Shirt $25): https://ohiotrue.com/
One of our favorite local t-shirt shops! However, they are so much more than just t-shirts. They have everything from joggers, baby onesies, to custom items to best fit your loved ones. Their shirts are made with a super soft poly/cotton blend and are great for lounging during the holiday break.
4. Franklin Morrow Socks ($9.99): https://www.franklinmorrow.com/
I admit we are a little biased on this one, but what would a holiday gift list be without everyone’s favorite holiday gift? Socks! I highly recommend buying your friends and family a pair of our new athletic socks.
5. Oakmond Design (pricing varies): https://www.oakmonddesign.com/
I fell in love with the work being done at Oakmond Design at the Dublin Market this summer. When exploring their booth you could see the care and detail that went into each of their custom designs. La Dolce Nola started with a family passionate about granola and high quality ingredients gifting hand made granola to friends and family. The name is actually from their two year old calling it ‘nola. The name stuck, the gifts were a hit, and requests for more did not stop and so their company, La Dolce ‘Nola, was born! Their granola is artisan and small batch. They make it all by hand in small quantities which means they don't cut corners in sourcing ingredients or creating their products.

As someone who just had my first child, this is the perfect gift for anyone shopping for me. Cover to Cover bookstore was first opened in 1980 by teacher Sally Oddi.
